While the cottage was advertised as dog-friendly, the garden was not securely enclosed, and there were gaps in the gate that could allow a small dog to escape. We also couldn't let our dog upstairs, as stated in the cottage rules, even though we usually let him sleep with us due to his age.

We had a great stay at a lovely rural location. the cottage was clean, well-equipped, and beautifully decorated. the double bed in bedroom 1 was exceptionally comfortable, with plenty of hanging space and drawers for our belongings. We also appreciated the abundance of local information sheets. the property offered all the facilities we needed, and the wifi connection was reliable, which was essential for our remote work. it was a peaceful and comfortable base for exploring the area. Cons: Cannot find any fault.

Host & Stay - Cosy Cottage is an ideal holiday home for any small family or couple who wish to enjoy the outdoor lifestyle that the area provides, but who also wish to benefit from the comforts of home in a modern setting. The cottage is located in an area where hiking can be enjoyed, with open fields and a paddock area for horses to the rear. We loved exploring the nearby countryside and taking long walks with our children. The proximity to the Victoria Theatre, just 24 km away, also provided us with the opportunity to enjoy some cultural activities during our stay. The cottage itself was spacious and clean, providing all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. We particularly appreciated having the cottage to ourselves and the privacy it afforded us as a large family. It truly felt like a home away from home.

For families with children, I would suggest that a small play area or some outdoor toys could be a great addition to make the stay even more enjoyable for the little ones.
